An 85-year-old man was fatally stabbed Wednesday at Meijer in Adrian. Police were first dispatched to the scene with information about a man with a knife in the automotive section at the back of the store, said Adrian Police Chief Vincent Emrick at the scene. Emrick said that a woman with a concealed pistol license witnessed the stabbing taking place. She drew her pistol on the suspect and ordered him to the ground. Armed citizen shoots man attempting to murder girlfriend |

Officers responding to a reported gunshot victim later discovered that he was the instigator of an attempted murder, according to Klamath Falls Police. Detectives investigating the shooting discovered that Taylor Reed Jackson had fired several times at a vehicle driven by his girlfriend, KFPD said. The woman was not injured in the shooting, but multiple rounds struck her vehicle. A "bizarre" chain of events led up to a Lakeland homeowner shooting and killing a man who broke into his home. The suspect was traveling in a vehicle with a female passenger. At one point, he crashed into a tree, threw himself on the hoods of several cars, and tried to enter a school bus, said Sheriff Grady Judd. Armed nightclub employee shoots gunman |

Salt Lake City Police Detective Greg Wilking said the shooting began about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when a man initially left the nightclub at 134 West Pierpont Avenue. He came back through another door and began firing a weapon in the air and pointing it at customers according to witnesses. Intruder shot after breaking into home, threatening family |

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect crashed his vehicle into two parked vehicles. Shortly after, several homeowners in the area called 911 to report someone attempting to break into their homes. At one home, the suspect had broken a window in a child's bedroom at the home before he threw a ceramic flowerpot through the glass in the front door.
